About Us
Chicago-Wide Vascular Surgery Journal Club was started in 2009 to bring together vascular surgery trainees and faculty in Chicago. The current listserve has grown to over 150 participants in Chicagoland.
We are committed to fostering a collaborative environment for all. We value individual differences and unique perspectives that are critical to the effective interpretation and assessment of scientific research, delivery of high-quality care, engagement in scholarly activity, education of trainees, and career development. We firmly believe that diverse ideas and innovative solutions are required to effectively tackle issues related to inequity, health disparities, systemic racism, and bias in medicine.
